Description

The field trip is designed to introduce part of the upstream petroleum activities to the non-geoscientists. The participants will be introduced to the ‘term’ and ‘jargon’ use by geoscientists such as: source rock, reservoir rock, formation, structural trap, oil seep, migration, fossil, oil fields etc. You don’t have to bothered in remembering all of those, but by the end of the trip it is expected that you will understand the big picture of petroleum exploration processes. This knowledge, undoubtable, will help you in developing your career in petroleum business in the future. Moreover, you have chances also to be a ‘fossil hunter’
