Proceedings Title : Proc. Indon. Petrol. Assoc., 38th Ann. Conv., 2014

As we may know the capital cost and operating cost in an operating company’s project lifecycle – as well as ConocoPhillips Indonesia – can be optimized if the facility operability and design issues can be captured by project division as early as possible. While it is also prevalent having minimum involvement of operations during the project lifecycle. Operability assurance is a working concept within ConocoPhillips Indonesia to minimize issues on the facility operability and design with the involvement of the operations as early as possible. This paper presents typical operability and design issues faced by operability assurance ConocoPhillips Indonesia in the brownfield project lifecycle of Letang Tengah and Rawa Optimization (LTRO) and other projects.
