The P field is gas producing field with CGR only 9 bbl/MMscfd of condensate yield in the Kangean PSC which producing the gas from Late Eocene Sandstone Ngimbang Formation with estimated OGIP 1.4 TCF, located in the Pagerungan island north of Bali Island Indonesia. There’s two productive layers from this field, LECS and BMS which completed as comingle production thru tubing 4-5.5” from the initial production.
First production was in 1993 from a total of 17 wells: 8 onshore wells and 7 subsea wells (the first subsea well in Indonesia). Cumulative production as of Oct 2024 1.2 Tcf and still on production up until now.
This paper will discuss and share our strategy to develop the Gas Field, Reservoir management strategy from early until tail production of the field including production optimization and surface facilities optimization which successfully producing the gas more than 80% Recovery Factor and sustain the production up until now.
