38th IPA Convention and Exhibition - Best Booth

The 38th IPA Convention and Exhibition, held on 21-23 May 2014, attracted 20,372 visitors, including 3,600 convention participants during the three-day event, exceeding last years record. From year to year, we have always had the Best Booth Contest as part of the IPA Exhibition. However, improvements in judging criteria have been made for better selection process and we have been assisted by three independent judges, working and reviewing the booths, the score of which were accumulated from 20 May, one day before the exhibition until the very closing hour of the third day, 23 May 2014. Two judges came from M.I.C.E. (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) background, one is an architecture lecturer:

  1. Dr. Dra. Aris Miyati Nasution, Master of American Studies, Senior M.I.C.E. Lecturer from University of Indonesia
  2. Ir. Indartoyo, Master of Science-Architecture from University of Trisakti
  3. Nurhayati SE., MM., Operation Head, Venue, M.I.C.E. Magazine

 

The criteria for the best booth judgment are:

  1. Compliance with rules and regulations 15%
  2. Safety measures 15%
  3. Aesthetics & façade, including creativity, imagination and originality 20%
  4. Informative & promotional materials, booth program 20%
  5. Interior design and space utilization 10%
  6. Booth staffs aptitude, enthusiasm, friendlines and interaction with visitors 10%
  7. Overall appearance and attractiveness 10%

 

TOTAL 100%
The categories for the booth contest are:
Category 1: Best Booth with large size of 50 sqm and above
Category 2: Best Booth with medium size between 19 up to 50 sqm
Category 3: Best booth with small size of 18 sqm
