Hydraulic Jet Pumping equipment was in.stalled in six Sembakung Field (N.E. Kalimantan) wells by Atlantic Richfield Indonesia Inc., for Pertamina during 1983. This paper presents the experience acquired in the process of installing and operating this type of artificial lift equip- ment in a remote location. Operating characteristics of the wells and equipment are reviewed and possible fbture installations in similar circumstances are discussed.
