Physical Properties Analysis Of Limestone Reservoir Salawati Basin Using Seismic Acoustic Impedance Inversion (A1) Modelbased

Proceedings Title : Proc. Indon. Petrol. Assoc., 36th Ann. Conv., 2012

Accoustic impedance Seismic inversion is general methods to characteistic reservoar. This methods include backward modelling methods, where in modelling using data input from accuisision data. Data input is seismic data and log data which is used for control in modelling. Data input that used in this paper is two wells data and six line seismic data which is having a intersection each other. The wells data which used are Panji Laras 1 and Panji Laras 2, and seismic data using seismic 1, seismic 2, seismic 3, seismic 4, seismic 5 and seismic 6. In every intersection seismic then created sintetic well, it’s done for help in created commencement model. Line seismic 3 is the one of much line seismic where passed by Panji Laras 1 and Panji Laras 2. Accoustic impedance in both Panji Laras 1 and Panji Laras 2 then interpolated for getting innitial model of accoustic impedance throught line seismic 3. For getting initial model of accoustic impedance in another line seismic, accoustic impedance interpolation from sintetic well is needed. If initial model from all line seismic have been gotten, so it can using a model based on method for getting an accoustic impedance map in all line seismic. Accoustic impedance map in all seismic line then overlying with porosity map in survey area. From overlying accoustic impedance map and porosity map, we can get an interest area where have a good structure in petrolium sytem. From further analysis, there are two areas have a good in petroleum system term. They are interest area 1 and interest area 2. Interest area 1 in seismic line 5, CDP 654 by accoustic impedance value 25.000ft.g/s.cc - 38.000ft.g/s.cc. Interest area 2 in seismic line 4, CDP * Institute of Technology Sepuluh November ** Petrochina Indonesia 512 by accoustic impedance value 24.000ft.g/s.cc – 36.000ft.g/s.cc. Keywords: accoustic impedance (AI) modelbase, limestone reservoir.
