PLENARY SESSION I

Theme: Surviving the Oil and Gas Industry in Indonesia under Current Oil Price

The low oil price means multiple things to Indonesia as a net importer of oil and as a country who receives revenues from its oil production. This session will present the government’s view on the low oil price from a macroeconomic perspective and how it will impact the country in the longer run. It will then be followed by global and regional analysis vis-a-vis Indonesia’s competitiveness, and ends with a reality check from the oil and gas players in Indonesia.
