IPA Virtual Talk – 02 Mar 2022

Indonesia has been going the transition from fossil to renewables energy not only to achieve the net zero emission target but also to mitigate the energy deficit. The major oil and gas companies in global have started the shifts to renewable and more environmentally green energies. Oil and gas global demand is expected to reach its peak over the next decade then start to decline.

“Natural resources which are priceless today might become worthless in the future if not explored, discovered, developed, and produced as soon as possible. Now, it is the time to react before the momentum is permanently lost,” said Budi Aguswidjaja Djadjuri, former Vice President of Finance of BP Indonesia, at the IPA Virtual Talk “Upstream Petroleum Contract System in Indonesia and Its Future Challenges in the Energy Transition”, on Thursday 2/3/2022.
